...Our Anniversary Trip

We took a weekend trip to Arizona! It was so nice! The weather was beautiful, we ate good, Nolan was not working and we did some major shopping! Being married 5 years I thought deserved a little trip! Maybe one day Nolan will take me on a cruise!

I became a huge fan of a few places while we were there!

Ikea is an awesome store! I have never been to one before! I am a huge fan! Nolan & I were in awe! I LOVE IKEA!

I love the The Childrens Place! They have the cuteset clothes for kids! I got so many cute clothes on SALE for Olivia! I have been to The Childrens Place before, but everytime I go, I fall in love with it all over again!

Of course as always who could forget OLD NAVY!! I am totally addicted to that store! Old Navy On-line is my best friend! I didn't so much get clothes for Olivia this time, but for me! Plus I got some major cute swim suits for Drew, Lexi & Kourtney!! I can't wait for summer!! Old Navy sales Lip Gloss, which I LOVE Lip Gloss! It is so yummy! Watermelon Mint is my favorite!

We ate so good! Living in good 'ol Farmington our choice of resturants is pretty sad! So we ate at all of our favorite places like...

We didn't get the chance to eat at our always favorite In-N-Out Burger! Guess there is always next time!

We were able to hang out with Darren & Heidi and the kiddos on Saturday! They entertained us! Parker wanted to know why Olivia had to be covered up when she ate! He didn't quite understand how she could eat under a blanket! I just left it up to his mom and dad to explain! Parker is a little cowboy and had to do a few "Shows" for us! Then he politely gave us his autograph! So cute! Alexia has grown up so much! She was such a help when it came to changing diapers and was so kind to let Liv take a nap on her bed! Elijah wasn't to sure about me, but loved Nolan. He wasn't to sure about Olivia either, but started to warm up to us as soon as it was time to leave! We loved hangin out with Darren & Heidi!

The weather was so nice on Saturday that we took Olivia outside and let her hang out on the grass.

She loved being outside! Ok not a smile in this picture, but she really did like it! PROMISE!She has been cooped up in our house and I look forward to this summer! We are going to have so much fun outside!

I can't wait to go on vacation again! Where should we go next time?

I think that I have the best nieces and nephews. I love to spoil them rotten! I am lucky enough to be able to watch Lexi, Drew & Kourtney the most, but I love being around Alexia, Parker & Elijah when I can!

Kourtney is my little monster! She is so naughty, but so cute at the same time! Maybe it's the 2nd child thing?I sympathize with her!

Alexis is little mother hen! She is smarty pants too! She amazes me at what she remembers and knows! She cracks me up with her little looks and the things that she says! She is 4 giong on 16!

Drew is such a handsome little guy! He is getting so chubby and might pass Olivia up! He has to endure alot having 2 older sisters! They just love him to death! I am so excited so see him & Olivia grow up together!

Alexia is my sugar! She always wants to sit by me! (which makes me feel so good) She is so stinkin smart! She is such a helper and is growing up so fast! She is always doing whats right and makes sure to try and keep her brothers in line! Kudos to you Lex for being the only girl!

Parker is the sweetest little boy you will ever EVER meet! He is always hugging & giving away slobbery kisses! He is our little cowboy & loves everything to do with tools! Parker can always make me laugh at the funny things he does! (his rodeo shows) Elijah always has the sweetest look on his face, but always makes you wonder what he has been up to! The question around Darren & Heidi's is always "Where is Elijah?" He can make a mess before you can blink! He is busy busy BUSY!!

Jace is active, ACTIVE, ACTIVE!! He can run all day an never be tired! He is going to be the little soccer player! Mason is just a week old and is a sweet baby boy!

I love being an AUNT! It is so much fun!

...What an experience...

Today I took my dad to his office so that he could catch up on some work. He is feeling much better! So I dropped him off... went and picked up some lunch for him and then met Nolan for lunch! After Nolan & I had lunch at the one & only ARBY'S! (I am seriously going to weigh 500 lbs soon!)I went back to my dad's office to hang out with him for a while! While he worked and Olivia slept...I got to watch the GSN (Game Show Network)!HOORRRAAAY! Then I had to go to the Bathroom! Not a big deal right? WRONG! This winter has been so strange to our area that the sewer pipes at my dad office FROOZZEE!! SOLID! GROSS!! They tried to thaw them out, but no luck! So instead of making everyone suffer...he rented a PORT-A-POTTY! NASTY!!

I don't do PORT-A-POTTY's! They take me back to the good 'ol Girls Camp days! Not so fond of them! I can remember having to go at night and bring a flashlight with you and making one of your friends get out of bed to come and shine the light through the little holes on the top so that you can see (somewhat) you are doing! They just are nasty! By the end of Girls Camp they were so bad that you would just hold it! I am not a true camper! Nolan & I bought a camper 2 years ago! That is the camping I do!

I think for the most part I am a pretty tough cookie! Labor was a big o piece of cake for me!! I just don't do PORT-A-POTTY's! Next time I'll pass...

P.S. All these anonymous comments about my husband...are from him! He has figured out that you can leave anonymous comments! Then he proceeds to tell me that some anonymous person left me a comment! So funny right?! They are all about how wonderful he is! HA HA Nolan you are funny & quite clever!

So last night after we got home from going to my Grandmas, then going to Nolan's Aunts house for a Birthday party...we were beat! Olivia hasn't slept much the last week. I was getting Liv ready for bed...Nolan came in her bedroom while I was changing her diaper and was talking to her! She was laughing and smiling at him, then he proceeded to say (which he shouldn' t have), "I love my little girl...she is so cute...(while looking up at me he says) and I love my Big wife" I looked at him with disgust and said "Big Wife huh?" I know he totally didn't mean it, but it just came out wrong! I always put my foot in my mouth...so I am glad at times someone else does it too!

Nolan, Megan & Olivia

...Life is a Bumpy Highway!

Where do I start?...The last 2 1/2 weeks have been really trying for our family! Not just Nolan, Olivia & I...but everyone in my family! It all started when Olivia & Andrew (my nephew, Olivia & Andrew are exactly 2 months apart) got RSV! It was horrible...coughing, wheezy breathing, coughing & more coughing. The Dr. was able to put Olivia on antibotics, but Drew is too little. Nolan & I had planned to go to Albuquerque for a day trip with the Young Women in our ward, but the night before Olivia started running a fever!! That was really scary! She did start feeling better but... we decided that we better not go. I was really sad, because I had been looking forward to this trip, I was going to get to see my friend Kendra that just moved to Las Cruces! But it's ok, I am over it! Last Sunday my mom took my dad to the ER with stomach pains. They thought that it might be gall-stones, but have now decided that it is Pancreatitis. OUCH! He is doing much better, we are just ready for him to be home! SO READY!

We have gotten so much snow over the last month, which would be really nice, but I am really tired of being cooped up in my house and the muddy mess that follows the snow outside! So needless to say...I NEED A VACATION!! Nolan & I will be celebrating our 5th Anniversary on the 22nd, we have decided that we need to get out of town for a few days and travel to warmer weather! ARIZONA HERE WE COME!! We really don't have any plans for the trip, well I do SHOPPING, Eating & SHOPPING!! I am really ready for a weekend out of town and have our first road trip since Olivia's been born! It should be fun! I AM SOO SOO READY!!

Olivia is getting so big, she rolled over last week! It was an exciting night in our house! Nolan & I made her do it over and over and over! She is growing like a weed...but Andrew is about to pass her up in weight! He gained 3 lbs in a month!! Little chunk!

Alexis (my niece) turned 4 yesterday...she is getting so big! She has turned into the little mother of the bunch! She talks to Andrew & Olivia like Amanda & I talk to them! She is such a helper to her mom! I love watching these girls grow! Kourtney is still SO 2! My mom tells me all the time that she should have been my child!?

I love taking pictures of her and take every chance I can to capture her cute & funny faces! But every time I pull the camera out...she gives me a blank stare! Nolan comes home and she is all smiles! She will smile for me, but not if I have the camera in my hand! She is a funny little girl! I love being a mom...it's the best calling! I feel so blessed!

I don't think I could be any happier right now! After looking back over the last 5 years (almost) of marriage...Nolan & I have been through a lot! But it has only made us stronger! We thank Heavenly Father everyday for finally blessing our lives with Olivia!
