...Just put a Band-Aid on it

Does your life ever feel like your getting dumped on? Do you just wish that you could just stick a Band-Aid on it till things got better? When we were little my parents had an Ace Bandage that was a miracle worker. If we had a cut, hurt arm, sore leg...we would just get out the Ace Bandage and our pain would go away with in minutes. Well ,my nieces love Band-Aids...They put them on EVERYTHING! A sore ear, scratch on your little toe, cut on your chin...there is a Band-Aid there to cover it up! I just wish that I could put a Band-Aid on others problems! I feel really sorry for them and sometimes just wish that I could do a quick fix like a Band-Aid! I realized that the problems that I have seem so petty compared to other people I know.
So next time when things get a little rough, put a Band-Aid on your forehead and maybe, just maybe it will all go away!

...Easter Weekend

Easter was lots of fun this year! I always love an excuse to eat candy and not feel guilty! We had an Easter Egg Hunt @ my parents house for all the kids! My dad was nice enough to even have an Egg for Olivia...it had $4 in it! The kids had lots of fun and we had an even better time going through all their candy! What is it about Easter candy that is so good?

Easter Sunday was great... Olivia was GREAT during Church and looked so cute in her Easter Dress (I am a BAD mother, I didn't get any pictures of her in her Easter Dress...guess I am going to have to do a little photo shoot this week?!) I loved being able to reflect on all the things that the Savior has done for me & my family! I am so grateful for my testimony of the gospel!

Here are a few pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt...

My little sister Kaitlin graced us with her presence at the Easter Egg hunt...As I was taking pictures of the kids, I thought I would take a picture of Kaitlin too! She made a nasty face as I was taking a picture of her and then said, "Put THAT on your BLOG!"

Kaitlin- The picture wasn't very flattering of you, so I chose to post one of your MAD HULA-HOOP SKILLS...

I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Easter!

...AHHH Relief part 2

So I did the Neti-Pot before bed last night and I did sleep a little better! It seems to be working! I am just going to have to keep using it over the next couple of days and see if it gets any better! You would be amazed at how much junk comes out after shooting a stream of water through your nose! A little gross, but pretty cool at the same time! I am just glad that my head doesn't feel like it's going to explode!
FINALLY!

...AHHH Relief!

I have had this dang cold/sinus crap for going on a week now! It's getting on my nerves! I have been stuffed up and not being able to breath at night! I have rubbed my nose with Vick's...didn't work! I have gone through countless boxes of Kleenex's and still nothing! So today I asked my dear husband to help me out and get me some nasal spray! Then I had an idea! (Which rarely happens!) I hardly ever watch Oprah, but about a month or so ago I happened to watch it when Dr. Oz was on! He has some really GREAT tips and I really like watching Oprah when he is on, because I don't have to listen to her outrageous ideas! He mentioned for Cold/Allergy relief to use Neti-Pot! It looks like a little pot and you put it up to your nostril and pour water into it and it is supposed to come out the other nostril. Sounds GROSS right? So Nolan searched ALL OVER Farmington for a Neti-Pot to help out his poor wife! FINALLY he found one! He came home and I did it right away!
It WORKS!! It really works! Almost immediately I felt relief! You feel totally stupid doing it, but it works! I don't have the sinus headache, the sniffs, the blowing my nose every 5 minutes now! I am going to do it again before bed tonight to see if I sleep better! AHHH!
HOW DO YOU SPELL RELIEF?

...Are you ready for some Softball?

...Nolan got his letter from the City of Farmington today! Softball season starts May 5, 2008! I am so excited! Ok just a little background first!...Nolan & I were High School Sweethearts (AHHHHH!) I went to every single Baseball game he had! I was the faithful girlfriend sitting in the stands of Aztec freezing my you-know-what off! Not to brag or anything, but my husband is a stud! He had the chance to go play college ball, but chose to serve the Lord instead! What a man...I know! I always wanted to be the wife of a pro-player, but I love the life I have now...I don't think I could really handle it!
...Ok so the rest of the story...Nolan got some friends of ours and started a Softball Team. Last year was the first year to have our own team( Nolan has played for other teams in the past, but never his own)! It was great...the weather was nice...wives got to chase the kids around(3 of us were pregnant during Softball season last year)I am so excited! I love watching & supporting my husband in something that he LOVES to do! Plus it brings back memories of his cute butt in those baseball pants! Yeah you know! Who agrees?
In our house Baseball is everything! Not everything, but you know! We love BASEBALL! So Amanda & Sharon get those boys ready...cause the BRAVES are back in town!!

...I think I might NEED this?

So I have this secret that you all are going to know about me and I don't want to be judged because of it! OK now that you all promise...
I LOVE INFOMERCIALS!
Nursing Olivia late at night and early morning...I have seen SO many things that I NEED! I wake up the next morning and tell Nolan all about them! He ROLLS his eyes?! WHY? I sometimes seriously wonder how I lived without some of these things?!
So let me give you an example... I saw the other night/morning an Infomercial for this exercise bar called Fluidity. I was really interested and being that I am trying to lose some weight I really think I need it! So I told Nolan about it, and what does he do...ROLLS his eyes?! What they heck...I know! Then he tells me, "Oh I heard that on the TV and it was bugging me, so I turned the TV off!"

(this is what I might look like after a while?!)

So I REALLY need this! I really think I will use it! You know us girls, we ALWAYS have good intentions of using things (IE. exercises DVDs) and NEVER do?! OK well I do anyway! But I know that I would really use this! So help me plead my case to Nolan please!
I know that I need to lose some weight, I just don't know if I am ready to go public like my sister Amanda, or friends Vanessa, Keri & Brandi!
PLEASE HELP ME!!

...4 month Update

...Our little Sweet Pea is already 4 months old! She is growing like a weed!
She weighed in at 12 lbs 5 oz. and 25 1/4 inches long!
She has grown 5 inches since she has been born! She is very long!
Her cousin Drew (2 months younger than her) only weighs an ounce less!! Little Chunk!!
She is rollin' and rollin' all over the place! She is trying to cut her two lower centrals! OUCH!!

She is the best baby that ever lived! (well I think so anyway)
