...Weekend Smeekend!

Our weekend was sooo fun! Nolan decided to take ALL day Friday off! YAY!! I was so pumped! I was going to put him to work in the house cleaning bathrooms, floors, cleaning out the fridge, scrubbing baseboards...etc. while I sat on the couch eating Bon-Bons (right Jeremy?!). Then he told me his plan and I couldn't think of anything better to do! I love when my husband has good ideas! So this is what we did...
...We drove to Cortez CO to look at Campers (we are in the market for a BIGGER one!)

...then drove over to Durango CO to have some lunch (Yummy Steamworks!) and do some downtown shopping

...While we were shopping I found the coolest thing ever for Olivia. I have been shopping on-line for a Baby Carrier. I wanted a wrap style, but Nolan thought it was a little on the girly side. After talking to a friend she bought a wrap and loved it for her little guy! So while in Durango they had what I had been looking at on-line! It's a Moby!

...So we tried it out...and Nolan liked it! So we got one! Olivia loves it! It's a little hard to get used to and figure out how to wrap it just right. Thanks Heather! (where's your Blog?)

(side note: Last night while we were at Softball practice, I had Olivia wrapped up in it facing out and a lady pointed out to everyone on her team that I was smothering my child. Was she quiet...NO! Was I annoyed...YES!Keep your opinions to yourself!)

....Saturday, Nolan had an Elder's Quorum Service Project... so Olivia & I did Laundry. Then we went over to visit Manda & Kids.Came home for a nap...Nolan planted grass seed (I did help!)

...While next door Jeremy & Manda started digging the foundation for their house! YAY!! Watching my dad on a Backhoe was pretty funny! Good job Guys!

...For dinner I made yummy Gumbo, to fill our empty bellys! Yum-O! Then we were able to hang out for a while at Grandpa & Grandma Stewarts!

What a GREAT weekend it was! Thank goodness for HARD Working Husbands!

...Just another Monday?!

From the moment I woke up this morning The Bangles song Manic Monday has been playing in my head all day long! I knew that it was going to be a SUPER BUSY day and I was wishing that it was Friday again so that I could have been able to get one more thing done! My sister had to take LIL' Drew for a Dr. Appt (@ 4 months he weighs 16 lbs 5 oz!!) and she asked me to watch the girls for her! I love watching Lexi & Kourtney! They are so much fun and we love playing and watching movies!

This is what we did...

...made a few funny potatoes

...played Ants N the Pants

...Uncle Nolan brought home lunch, so we had a picnic on the living room floor

...had a bowl of ice cream

...watched 2 GREAT movies

Enchanted & Ratatouille

...Played with some toys

...made about 500 trips to the Bathroom

(Kourt is potty-training)

...Olivia had a LONG nap

(2 1/2 hours! YAY!! Mom was happy!)

Then after Amanda came and picked up the girls...Nolan called

...He forgot his cell phone at home and left some papers from a client in my truck!! (Oh boy! Those of you that know Nolan...that is his LIFE...I call it his girlfriend...he doesn't think it's funny!)

... So we made a trip into town to take Nolan his cell phone & papers. He was nice enough to treat us to a Sonic Drink (my favorite!)

...We made it home just in time to go for our afternoon walk with Amanda, kids and Grandma Whipple! After our walk...went home, Nolan put water on our grass seed(please grow!)...changed his clothes for Softball practice and out the door we went! We stopped at Subway on our way into town for dinner!

YUMMMM!!!

...At Softball practice for an hour, came home put Olivia in the Bath and had a short FHE lesson!
Read Olivia a few books, kissed her good-night and put her in bed!
WHEW!!

...Said prayers, kissed(muah!) each other good-night, Nolan rolled over and went to dream land, while I stayed up to Blog about our busy day!

...After all of this she is still smiling!

...Spring Flowers & Sleeping in the Shower

...I love Spring Time! Mostly because I love the Flowers! My tulips are coming up (thanks Heidi for some of them) and all the trees are blooming...not so good for allergies though!

...If Olivia isn't taking a nap(which sleep is rare for her these days) I usually put her in her bouncey seat and put it in front of my Shower...she likes to be near me & she is quite the MOMMY's Girl! Yesterday morning while I was in the shower I could hear her playing and then it got really quiet...she had fallen asleep! I tip-toed out of the shower and went to get my camera! She didn't last long there, but I thought it was so cute!

...This past weekend we had a birthday party for my niece Alexia & nephew Elijah, they were here visiting from AZ! We had lots of fun! Olivia loved being outside and watching all the kids! Nolan got to play Basketball with his brother and cousins and I got to sit and talk to all the girls! What a great day it was!

Am I obsessed about my daughter or what? I can't post something without putting a picture of her up! Do you blame me though, she is pretty stinkin' cute!

...Jogging Strollers & Diaper Bags

I NEED HELP!!

Nolan & I are going to be buying a jogging stroller for this summer when we go camping! I have looked on E-Bay and found a few that I like but I am still not sure! I don't know whether to get one with a child tray or not, with big wheels or smaller wheels?! I am so confused! Plus I would really like a new diaper bag for summer! Something cute! I don't want to spend a lot of $$ on one, but I don't want something that falls apart easy! I have bought 2 diaper bags since Olivia's been born and I am not totally crazy about either one! So please give me your opinions!!

Personal Progress is "TOAD"ally Awesome

In our ward we have been trying to get our girls excited about Personal Progress! We just finished up with a Reward (yes we bribed them...there is a eternal reward too!) Program in December! Tonight we started another one! They have until June 30th to complete 10 1 Hour Projects or 1 10 Hour Project! So this is how we kicked it off....

I am SOOOO excited! It was so much fun! But I came home to one unhappy little girl and a stressed out husband! (it was good for him) OH BOY! Next time...Olivia will have to join in the fun! Because she is TOADally Awesome!

...Advice from "Pat"

...I had to take Olivia to the Dr. on Monday for a makeup shot that they were out of a few months ago...

While we were walking out of the Building, it was a little windy, and there was a "Pat". (You know the SNL character that you don't know whether its Male or Female) Well Pat told me "Cover him up, its too windy out here Geez!"

... Then I told "Pat" SHE doesn't like her head to be covered up"

(mind you my daugther had a pink bow on her head and I was holding her in a pink & purple blanket)

Nolan said it was a woman, but I still think it was a "Pat"

...Last time I checked I don't take advice from someone that I can't tell whether they are Male or Female!

...5 months old...

Olivia is 5 months old already! I can't believe it! It has gone by so fast! Here are a few pictures from the last month! We love our little sweet pea...
