...Nolan & I are going on a date tonight! Minus Sweet Pea! I am a little worried, but Nolan has faith! Thank heavens for little sisters (right Vanessa & Manda) like Kaitlin! She is the best Aunt ever, well next to me of course! Nolan is treating me to this movie...

Maybe if I am lucky he will even treat me to this on the way home...

I feel like we are back in High School again...minus the raging hormones!

...Pioneer Days

...Like the rest of the Mormon World, we celebrated Pioneer Days this weekend. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work as always. Thursday night Sweet Pea & I went to the play "All in Favor". It was very cheesy, but pretty funny! Our stake has alot of musical & acting talent! It's nice to see it put to use! Friday night we went to the Jack Family Reunion Dinner and then went to Kirtland El and watched the Fireworks! By far the best around here! Sweet Pea LOVED them. I was a little worried how she would do, but she was so into them! Nolan & I were even "OOHHHH"ing & "AHHHH"ing.

The Young Women in our Ward were in charge of the Float for the parade. The theme this year was, "Our Personal Family Heritage". We had by FAR the cutest float in the stake! The theme for our float was "Our Personal Family Heritage...Ohh So Sweet!" (we really wanted to put "Plant Your Seed", but decided it was a church function and kept it G rated) We decorated everything with Watermelons! We even threw Watermelon Candy! How fun is that? We get serious when it comes to our calling! Gena (our YW president) had shirts made for the girls & Sweet Pea! They looked super cute! Yours truly got to pull the float,(1st time pulling a trailer or anything behind my truck!) ! Nolan couldn't make it and all the rest of the husbands were busy with other things! I did SO awesome, well besides my brakes squeaking the whole time, everything went great!

After the parade we went home and picked up Nolan, (We got a load of concrete that morning for our new drive-way!yay!) and hurried back over for the games! Every year there are races for the youngsters, from the crawlers to age 18. It is SERIOUS business here in K-town! Sweet Pea, of course, was in the crawling race and WON!! There were only 2 other crawlers, but she still won! According to her father, "The Stewarts are Winners!!" She was very funny, she was eating every minute up. Lovin' the attention! Nolan finally had to get his cars keys out to entice her to come over to me! She was way more interested in everyone calling her name and clapping for her! It was so funny!

After the games on Saturday we went to a family luncheon. Nolan's family knows how to throw a party!! We really just sat around and talked and ate! Sweet Pea did get to crawl around on the trampoline and eat a WHOLE slice of watermelon! Thanks Grandma! Yes we are all wearing green for a reason(The Guillorys were in charge of wearing green for the family float) ! We really didn't mingle with the other families, the green shirts stuck together!

We capped the night off attending the Pie & Ice Cream Social and watching Kaitlin & Jeremy in the Championship Softball Game! Kaitlin's team won in extra innings! Don't rub it in too bad sis!
I really do love the 24th celebration! It is really alot of work for each ward, but ends up a success! It is nice to celebrate the pioneers trek, but also having our religious freedom! It makes me so grateful for their sacrifice and determination!

...Called to Serve

...Missionaries are all Nolan's family can think about right now! He has a cousin coming home in 1 week and another cousin just got his mission call.

Elder Jacob has been called to serve in the Ivory Coast Abidjan Mission (it's in Africa). We are so excited and proud of you Jacob! November 5th isn't that far away! Watch out MTC!

Elder Jason will be returning from the Washington Tacoma Mission on August 5th. We can't wait to see him and hear all his good stories! Can't believe it's been gone by so fast! We've missed you!

Carson you're next!February is right around the corner!

I am so grateful for missionary work and these young men and young women choosing to serve. I always wanted to serve a mission, if I wasn't married by the age of 21. I hope that one day Nolan & I will be able to serve a mission.

I am so proud of all of the missionaries in my life!

...Lazy Days

...I seriously could stay in my pjs all day! I really hate getting ready. It seems like it takes FOR-EV-ER! Most days, unless I have somewhere to go, I don't get ready till 11ish (shhhh!) . Somedays Nolan comes home for lunch and I still haven't taken a shower! We have been married for almost 5 1/2 years...he knows me all to well! I love hanging out at home in my pjs with my messy hair and no make-up face, I guess after all those years of working I deserve it! Just Keepin' it real Folks!

I swear this was inherited from a parent or someone else in the family because it is not just me! I pick scabs until they bleed, zits (even the smallest sign of them), my nose, Sweet Peas nose, pretty much anything! I can't help it! I do it and sometimes don't know that I am picking until the scab on my arm starts bleeding?! Nolan hates it when I bother Olivia, but seriously sometimes you just ignore that HUGE booger that is right there!

...I worked with a lady that had the WORST Table manners by far! When I was pregnant with Sweet Pea it made me almost vomit watching her eat. She once blew her nose at the table and got a bloody nose(mind you we were at a restaurant)! EWWW! She smacked and chewed her food like a COW! I can't stand smacking!GROSSSS!

...Birthday Wishes & Missing Body Parts!

...I officially am the B-I-G 25! Yeah it's not that big of a deal! Maybe because I have a Percocet in me (well 1/2 of one)?! My Birthday was GREAT! Nolan brought home Subway (my new non-greasy diet) for lunch, took the afternoon off and let me take a nap( he really does love me)! We ended the evening off with Sonic and Nolan had 2 Softball games! They won the Championship! ....WHEW! It would have been a horrible Birthday ride home!

...That dang Gallbladder that was puttin' a cramp in my style is gone! The Surgery was a breeze, I don't know why I waited so long?! Well yes I do. ..I wanted to wait till Sweet Pea was done nursing, but the Dr. convinced me other wise! I guess that's what he gets paid the big bucks for! The day after I was feeling a little too good (note the Percocet) and tried to be Wonder Woman...(minus the boots & underwear on the outside) and over did it! Why I don't know because Nolan was home and was there to fulfill to my every desire! I didn't take advantage of him like I should've! Next time! What would I do without a good husband to take care of Sweet Pea in the wee hours of the night so that I can get a full nights sleep?! I think I can milk this surgery thing for a long time! Years maybe? I will try!

...I am so excited for my Birthday weekend! Nolan has promised me good food and more R & R! The Olsens are passing through on their way to Canada! We are going to PARTY!

...4th of July & Camping

...Our Holiday weekend was not long enough for sure! I could always spend one more day in the mountains. I love the mountains! Sweet Pea got super spoiled (and so did mom & dad) by Aunt Rachelle, Grandma & Grandpa Stewart. They were always willing to take her for walks so that we could have moments of relaxation. She loved it! What girl doesn't like being the center of attention?We pigged out on delicious food, played cards and took naps! What more could you ask for?
I love the 4th of July! We opted not to go watch fireworks, because Sweet Pea gets scared easily and she was pooped! Maybe next year?!

We hope that everyone else had a Great Independence Day too!

...Sweet Pea is 8 months old! Where has time gone? I really don't know. Here is what she has been doing this last month...
