...Lessons from Grandma

My 87 year old Texan Grandma is funny! She is a little on the forgetful side and so having a conversation with her can be funny or frustrating, depending who you are. I had the opportunity to take her to a Dr. appointment this week. I was lucky enough to hear about interesting facts about the area we lived in. She sometimes get confused and thinks we are in Texas...we live in New Mexico. Close enough! I learned things about my family, who she likes & thinks the world of and well those that she really just doesn't care for. I also I learned a very important lesson on the way home...I will cherish FOR-EV-ER!

Don't talk to people you don't like.

What the heck have I been doing all this time? Guess I had it totally wrong?

I stinkin love older people and their funny stories. They can be just as entertaining as kids huh. Oh I had to make my blog private so just email me at tbwet@msn.com with your email address so I can send you an invite thingy. I just felt like I couldn't really vent if it was a public thing ;)

I love talking with older people. They see the world completely different, and hind sight always makes things crystal clear. I wish I had my great grandfather around. I miss his old stories, thanks for sharing!
