... A Bed for Sweet Pea

... After a lot of sweat and elbow grease, Sweet Pea's bed is finally done! The quilt fits perfectly and looks great! With the help of my mom I made a pillow sham and some throw pillows. Sweet Pea has been doing so good in her "Big Bed". We have had a few rough nights, but for the most part it's great!

... My Winning Comment

... FOR-EV-ER ago I commented on a Giveaway with no intention of winning. Lucky me though...I won! I was able to choose the fabric for it and everything! (That was not easy, but I think I did pretty good!) It has taken me for-ev-er to remember to take a picture for Whitney! Thank you again Whitney for doing the Giveaway and Joni for sewing the beautiful apron!! I love my apron!!

... Happy Birthday Sweet Pea!

...We've been

...Throwing our toe-nails up, eating lots of crackers and chicken noodle soup, staying in our P.J's pretty much all day, watching countless Disney Movies and lots of Food Network, drinking plenty of water, not leaving the house because we are still in those P.J's, coloring when we feel like getting off the couch, enjoying the fall weather from the inside of the house.

Let's just say Olivia & I (mostly me) have been sick the last 2 weeks. We thought we were over it and then it hit again. We might come back to the real world soon?! Maybe not because our P.J's are super comfy!!

... Canning Pickles

... If you grew up in Kirtland , you know that The Wells are a big time canning family! Every year for my Birthday and Christmas Sister Wells gives (blesses) me with a jar of her Pickles. These aren't just any pickles! They are the best pickles known to man! I covet these! (That's probably bad) I crave these pickles! This past weekend Sister Wells invited me to her house to learn how to can these SPECIAL pickles! I was in HEAVEN!! I spent the afternoon with her and soaked up every tip she gave me. I will for sure be putting my canning skills to use next summer!

Thank you so much Sister Wells!!

... The Last Supper with Wes

... It has been ONE week since Wesley entered the MTC! We miss him, but know that he has made the right decision to serve a mission for the Church. The night before Wes left we had "The Last Supper" with the entire family. After dinner was over, we sat around and let the kids play, a few of Wesley's friends stopped by to say their last good-byes. One perk of having my Dad as the Stake President is we didn't have to put our church clothes on and take all the kids to the church. We were all able to witness Wesley get set apart as a Missionary for the Church. There were a few dry eyes in the room. It was very special moment in time for our family. Wes will be a great missionary and I know that 2 years will go by quickly!
