...Because he's a Big Baby

...This is my baby brother Wesley. We are about 7 years apart. I grew up changing his diapers, babysitting him, beating him up, forcing him & my sister Kaitlin into wrestling matches, getting annoyed with him, him stealing my jewelry for his little girlfriends and the list goes on.  Having 3 older sisters Wesley has been "mothered" to say the least. He knows what sister to call for what need. I have been deemed the Prom asking/flowering order/ picture taking Sister. My other 2 sisters have their duties as well.

Since Wesley knows how to work us, he uses it to his advantage. Today was no exception. I received a call from Wes asking me to bring him some lunch because the school lunch was crap. I told him just to eat it and deal with it (that is so something my mother would say). Wes then began begging me! Sweet Pea was sleeping and I was not about to wake her up to go take Wes lunch! I told him Nolan was on his way home for lunch and I would call him and have him get something for Wes. The choirs began to sing in Wesley's favor. So I made the call to Nolan (who is also the baby of his family) pleaded my case that Wes could not eat school lunch and he was hungry. Nolan refused! I begged and begged some more. Nolan caved! I called Wes to let him know that he was in debt to me for arguing with Nolan, and that babysitting would be sufficient payback.

Why do I do this? I have no clue! The inner mother (she is in there somewhere) cares for this little boy. I can't help it! He is my baby brother. I pity his poor future wife for all of this. So Sorry to the future Mrs. Wesley Whipple. You can kill me later!

Wesley...note to you: I can not bring you lunch while you are on your mission! Sorry it's against the rules...even though I like breaking the rules, I am not breaking this one for you! Deal with it!

This is SOOOO true! But we are suckers for our baby brother, despite what our hubby's may say. I love it!

Forget your "baby" brother! I'm more interested in hearing about that incredibly wise mother of yours! Sounds like she knows a thing or two about how the world really works. You should probably take her advice more often. I'd say you are pretty lucky to have someone like her around. Can I call her for advice?

Aww Kaitlyn is so famous and all sounds to me like bro was needing some special attention. Great sis for giving it to him or should I say Great BIL for going to do the bidding for the great sis.

1) Do you spoil Nolan like like too?

2) It should be required to show the prom date that picture before giving an answer.

Don't worry Megan. Taft is exactly the same way. He knows that he can basically get whatever he wants from Hillarie and myself. Hillarie takes him to the movies, buys him clothes, and babies him. I am the do it for me sister when he needs something done. I think we must deep down feel bad for being so bossy and mothering them when they were little and now they take advantage of us.

Aww, We love to baby our baby brothers. George Strait sang it best "You gotta baby your baby" Of coarse he was talking about a woman, But it works both ways. Thats why we call them "baby brothers" I liked this story, it was sweet. But if I am being honest, I fully expected the post to be about how he is jealous everybody is blogging about KK and he felt left out so you were blogging for him, because he is a big baby. hahaha, well this was a cute post nonetheless.
