...A little on the Creepy Side

...It has taken me a while to get up enough guts to talk about this to other people than close friends & family. But I have finally decided that I needed to get it off my chest and out into the Blogging World.
...Here goes nothing...

...Well when I spoke in Sacrament Meeting on Mother's Day I had something very disturbing happen to me. (Well I thought it was a little strange) After I talked and was listening to the last speaker, I happened to glance out into the congregation and noticed a Sister and her son intently staring at me. She would glance up at me and then glance down again at a paper in her lap. Then her son would point to the paper and then up at me. She was sitting on the very front row so it was hard for me not to see them. This went on for a while and not wanting to stare and be rude I tried to ignore it and put it out of my mind. After Sacrament Meeting was over, I kept thinking how weird it was and wondering what they were doing?!
...I soon found out...

...After church we went over to my parents house and were greeted at the door by my little brother Wes laughing and holding a piece of paper. He was laughing so hard that he was about to pee his pants. Then he quoted a classic line from O so famous Napoleon Dynamite, "It took me like 3 hours to do the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done!"

I looked at the paper and she had drawn a picture of me! That's not the bad part...she drew me with a UNI-BROW! I don't have a UNI-BROW! The picture did not look a thing like me! She gave it to my mom for a keepsake?! My mom being the funny lady that she is hung it on the fridge! She has since thrown it away knowing how bad it creeps me out! All I could think about was this...

What's the BIG DEAL you say? The son pointing things out. He creeps me out to began with! I just get a strange vibe from him! Not the good strange either(if there is such a thing as good strange?)! A drawing from a little 2 year old... I would have been flattered, but a 40 something year old Lady?! Not so much!

So next time you talk in church...

BEWARE OF THE DRAWERS!!

They are out there and they are coming to your ward next!

Hilarious, it makes me laugh everytime I hear the story. It's better when you know the artist!

That is sooo funny! But it totally makes me laugh cause there's this dude in our ward who brings his sketch book to church and a few weeks back I kept feeling someone staring at me in sunday school and I look to my right and he's sketching me and McVet. what the??!! He gives me a weird vibe too. Single, 29, very flirty...VERY WEIRD! So I wanna see the pic she drew of you!

Alright! Do I know any of these people? Let's see, front row in Second Ward sacrament (you are still in 2nd ward right?)
Was it a Shrum? Maybe a Billy?

You have me wracking my brain! Probably someone who has moved in since I have been gone...

Erica- Mom my threw the drawing away, because of it's creepy-ness! But it was a little funny too

Sean- None of the above! They are a new family...the people that bought your old house...ask your mom! Maybe see can tell you about them!

Say no more! The hippy artist family. I heard the man got up in Sunday school and was professing how he was the most intelligent man you would ever meet. And I hear their kids are on the verge of devil worshipping serial killers (at least by looking at them).
Too funny, I will have to relay this to my Mom!

I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. I love that movie! I say go dig the picture out of the trash so I can sell it on ebay for you. A unibrow?!? how hillarious...maybe you should draw a picture of her with a mustache or something.

I was telling this story to Tarren because I thought he would think it was so funny too. He was really quiet and he didn't laugh. I was like hello did you not hear me? And this is what he said. Maybe the lady really wanted Megan to remember her first Mother's Day as a mom. Maybe she thought she was giving the family something to look back on and say oh remember that it was the day Megan talked and celebrated her first mother's day...the mother's day that she wanted to celebrate for a long time but didn't have babies yet. And maybe she just wasn't a very good artist. Then I felt bad for not thinking of it like that...but I can't help it..it's still kinda funny!

Ha ha ha i should not laugh but I have too-I think every ward has a very colorful family like that, but IT isn;t funny when you are the object of their intelligence or talent? Oh my heart--I am glad that it was not me speaking there!
