...1 year older & wiser too!

...Happy Birthday Sweet Pea!
...One year ago today I gave birth to you. It was fast and it hurt real bad! Thank you for not making my labor last into the double digits! 6 hours was enough! Back in those days you slept and slept and ate and ate and pooped (alot). Now you don't sleep (ok maybe sometimes) and you still eat alot!

You are such a funny girl and have quite the attitude these days. Thank you for turning my world right side up!

Happy Birthday We love you!

...Camping "Stewart Style"

...Every Labor Day weekend since Nolan & I have been married we have been camping at 5 Branches campground. It's our favorite place and our little re-treat away from our crazy lives. This year was extra special because we had Sweet Pea with us so, every thing was new and exciting!

...We enjoyed some yummy food

...lots of card games

...lots of walks

...a cooollld Boat Ride around the lake

...some DEL-ICI-OUS fudge

... and best of all afternoon naps!!

...Sweet Pea loved being able to crawl around and shove every rock possible in her mouth. YUCK!! She has a new found love for cantaloupe from Grandma's garden. Ate everything, and I mean everything in sight! Best of all, was completely spoiled for 5 days straight!!

She de-tested the life jacket, then I whipped out the camera and she liked it suddenly?! Go figure. We couldn't get her to keep it on the whole time...I know what a horrible mother I am!!

Nolan got to play Captain for a while and we all sang the theme song to Gilligan's Island

(ok only Grandma & Grandpa knew the words)

We love camping!

...Why I've been behind on Blogging

...Summer has been so crazy! I have been playing catch up nearly all summer. We have been having lots of fun! Here is what we have been up to...

Playing in the "Pond"...

...Saw Elder Jason come home safe!

... 2 Braves games with the Olsens

...went to the SJC Fair

...Eating Oreo Fudgees

(because she is cutting teeth and really anything goes at the Stewarts!)

...Most of all having the time of our lives!

...The Fair

...We took Sweet Pea to the Fair. She loved the animals and even got to pet a few. The smell reminded me why I don't have animals!
Too bad Sweet Pea wasn't big enough to get in the pin and catch one of these...

we could have taken it home! No thanks!

We saw a lot of this...

and this...

and when we saw this...

Nolan said, "Check out the balls on that thing!"

YES!That is my husband...just Keepin' it Real Folks! His sister was disgusted.

Sweet Pea got to Test Drive a Tractor...

...then got a lesson from Grandpa & Dad

We LOVE the Fair!

...Partying with the Olsens

...We met up with the Olsens in Phoenix and had more laughs then we could really handle! We went shopping, ate good food, went to a Baseball game and ate some more! We love Nate & Kendra and wish they didn't live so far away! Sweet Pea loved the Baseball game and Nate & Kendra were cheap entertainment along with this lady(not her daughter)....

(die hard Braves fan...she got even funnier after a couple of drinks)

...and then there was this guy

(he wanted me to take a picture of him? One too many Jose Cuervos)

Of course Sweet Pea had to have Braves attire on! Thank goodness I found some outifts for her when I was pregnant! She looked so cute! Thanks to Grandpa Jerry, Nolan & I got to match one night!

We laughed till we cried and shoved our faces till our buttons popped!Sweet Pea loved the crowds, staring at other peoples food and watching those Baseball players in tight pants (ok not really)! She got so tired one night at the game she fell asleep...
All -n- all it was a fun trip! We ate at some good places like...
(thanks Sharon for blogging about Matt's Big Breakfast! It was amazing!) ,

and watched 2 good baseball games!

GO BRAVES!!

(nate this picture makes me laugh every time I see it! I couldn't resist!)

For a good time call the Olsens! Seriously!

...A Big Texas Weekend

...We had a whirl wind of a weekend! It was so much fun and we were glad to get out of town for a few days. Houston was beautiful, a little (ok a lot) on the humid side, but it was nice. Flying with Sweet Pea was a piece of cake. She was so good, I didn't even have to drug her!
...We flew in early on Friday morning and had enough time before the Dinner, so we drove down to Galveston. It was exactly what I pictured the south looking like. We could still see some of the effects of the Hurricane on the houses. I have never seen so many cool buildings & houses. I have always wanted a beach house and after seeing Galveston...I still want a beach house!
Sweet Pea loved the ocean! She loved the sand, the shells, the waves and crawling around & eating sand!
(no fat jokes please...why didn't you tell me I have a double chin)

Alecia & Dennis invited us to the Wedding Rehearsal & Dinner (which was so nice of them). Sweet Pea was sleeping during the Wedding Rehearsal so Nolan sat in the car with her while I went inside the church and watched. Chance (another friend from High School) was there and we had such a good time watching (ok really talking the whole time), and reminiscing about the good 'ol days! We did some pretty funny things!
(yes Chance, I put this on my blog! I told you I would!)
Dinner was de-lici-ous, some Good Texas BBQ of course! YUMMM!!!
Chance was nice enough to take Sweet Pea for a little bit at dinner and let Nolan & I have some alone time! He kept doing that all weekend! Thanks Chance! We love Uncle Chance!Erica shared with everyone her story. We are so glad for her safe return, and are so glad that she was there for the special event!

The wedding was beautiful! Alecia looked stunning! The ceremony was wonderful and they had good music! Loved the guitar player! After the ceremony, before the reception Nolan & I found Sonic and grabbed a ice cold Dr. Pepper! I love America's Drive In!

Mr. & Mrs. Doty

(he took dance lessons behind her back! Way to go John!)
The reception was so pretty. I loved the color combination of Turquoise & Brown, it was very traditional and made me think of home! The food was de-lici-ous and it was great to see the happy couple & their happy families! We were able to snap a picture with the beautiful bride before we had to leave. Gave hugs & kisses and were off to put Sweet Pea to bed!

Thank You John & Ellane for a wonderful party! We love you!

...We got back to our Hotel to find the power out! OH GREAT!
No A/C + Houston humidity + a tired Sweet Pea = NO FUN!

We made the best of it though...
Thank You Mr. Marriott for providing snacks, a coke and a comfortable chair while we were waiting! It was very nice of you!
...We did manage to take Sweet Pea swimming. She loved splashing in the water and floating around!

We had such a fun weekend! We are glad to be home and spend a few nights in our own bed...that is until the next trip...Camping for the 4th! What could be better?
